Listening to him talk about "evil troll demons" and insist people shouldn't be able to express themselves anonymously online really exposes his true authoritarian nature

How’s Joe D in your view?

who?

Joe Dispenza

Jordan Peterson

His work and talks on Nietzsche and Jung, and the biblical series are enough to secure his intellectual legacy. I’ll admit, in 2017 I was on a Peterson tip. I was in Toronto at U of T and going to see him speak (when it was still $5-$10 to get in). I think he worked as an intellectual gateway for myself and a lot of people. But most of the people I speak with agree that he has gone off the rails. His obsession with the culture war is too much. If at this point you’re still a fanboy then I think you’re under a spell. But I still respect the man.

I listen to maybe 3 full podcasts a year with him. I don’t think “perma-victim” is an accurate representation of him or his “worshippers”

it is. he’s always whining about the latest attacks on him and his chronic drug/ health issues

Sounds like our samples of different podcasts had mostly different content 🤷🏻

He's always debating socialism with the "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps" argument, completely ignoring the fact that our government and central bankers have devalued the currency 95% in the last 50 years. Telling poor people to stop trying to organize ti fight power structures and just clean their rooms instead. Possibly on the payroll.

And he and his kids are all on antidepressants.

And he wore a cape in college.

Didn’t Jordan Peterson also push the trumpscine?

Oh yeah he was on board for the MAGA jabs

Perma victim?

How do?

How so?

I‘d be interested as well. I‘d intuitively say the opposite.

have you ever listened to him?

Yes, I do sometimes. He also cries sometimes. But I don‘t think that makes him a „perma-victim“, just human.

💯

My instincts tell me to run when I see or hear him for 5 seconds.

I don‘t think that anyone wants to be like him. So I‘m not sure if worship is the right word.

He’s an angry man talking on a high intellectual level. His thought process is very transparent. So I like that he doesn‘t seem to play a role.

Content-wise it‘s a double-edged sword. Because he‘s such a fast thinker, I need to pay much attention to discover what I don‘t agree with him about.

if you think he's angry, wait till you see whats coming !

who might you recommend ?

This might sound petty but - I've never been able to listen to him purely on the sound of his voice. His outfit choices also signal to me that he thinks he's something far more special than he might be.
