If I delete my Facebook account, will I still I maintain my Messenger account, or are they fully intertwined?
Considering deleting my account, but unfortunately Messenger is the most popular messaging app over here.

You can retain the messenger
if i recall correctly you can deactivate your primary account and still maintain access to messenger but if you actually fully delete your account you will lose access to messenger

I waffeld on full deletion for a while. I had the same issue for a bit where there where people that I did not want to lose my connections with and it took a while to sort out how to keep in touch lol.
just uninstall everything buy messenger. I also have to use WhatsApp unfortunately
Once it was possible to have messenger without Facebook account, phone number just required, but Mark disabled this feature.
doubt it was Mark himself, but yeah ๐

I cannot believe, people actually use this. WhatsApp is already very cringe but using Facebook Messenger is much worse & more cringe than using an e-mail address assigned to you by your ISP.
