ps: if by any chance you have an access to Lunux version of SPSS, would really appreciate if i can get a copy. hoho

Is there a reason you must use Microsoft Office instead of LibreOffice or OpenOffice?

I mainly use WPS for thesis writing. However, my supervisor are using Microsoft Office. So, usually at the end of the research I will start editing on Microsoft Office for compatibility reasons.

Despite a FOSS advocate, I cant convert to libre office despits multiple attempts. as for OpenOffice, its abandoned.

inb4 i might try using libre again if i can adjust the UI (found some solution). furthermore libreoffice is zotero compatible. i try as much as possible going FOSS but my uni is not FOSS friendly

Raspbian

You should just learn R for statistics. Much better than the stuff you listed and no need for wine

im considering Jamovi, which is a UX on R (you get both a UI and a syntax option if needed).

But my uni is not that R friendly, for now. haha my supervisor may face problem if I use Jamovi.

That sounds ridiculous if you're working on a phd, I can't imagine an good university doing that. Probably a bad sign for your department, be careful.

gui ux will hold you back. just learn the real thing asap and you'll be better off. same with latex.

the uni wont hold me off but my supervisor are not that good with R
