I see many notes worrying that Nostr isn't growing fast enough. I'm not worried though. I don't think the growth will be linear.
All it will take is ONE application to go viral. The day that happens the whole thing will explode. That's the protocols magic. Once people get sucked in, they can already "log in" to every other thing made on Nostr. That's the day every Nostr apps user count goes to the moon.

Nice thank you. Definitely won’t be linear growth here. It feels vibrant and much higher signal than any other social I’m on. I think YoY on a 2-3 year timescale will be more useful.

I'm in the "slow growth is good" camp. Every time someone new gets some help figuring it out, they are surprised by how nice most are on nostr & they want to pass that along. That's huge. A lot of that would be lost with rapid growth.

Aw animal health problems suck they can be pretty expensive sometimes we got human healthcare but no doggo healthcare. I’ve gotta go to jail in a week so I’m dreading that shit. On the bright side I’m gonna be wasting a lot of the governments money so that’s good. They still want me to do 6 months in jail for Instagram messages those pricks. Really hoping this country collapses sooner rather than later so we can rebuild it to not be so broken and we can be free again.

Yeah I’m gonna be getting medical Alberta works cheques while I’m in jail $1200 a month getting rid of my apartment my aunt will DCA all of it to Bitcoin while I’m away. Cost of living is so high right now that financially this will be to my benefit. Plus I’ll be costing them a average of $150 a day just for my jail expenses. I’ll be costing those fuckers more than they’re costing me so it’s whatever really.
