I am planning to run a node, didn't even know I need incoming liquidity :-)
When I have it all running I should write a full guide, I find myself searching for info all over the place.
This is the normal path for most node runners. 😎
You will need incoming liquidity if you're expecting to receive payments on the lightning network (as opposed to sending only).
Just started mine this week and I couldn't be prouder haha, I can help you to make it faster (at no cost obviously) as it took me a lot of time to figure things out and just realized it is easier than I thought initially.
Personally felt it was a headache because there are things no one explains to you, it's like when talking about lightning people just assume you know everything beforehand and there are a couple of things to take into consideration.
