For those complaining about nobody but devs being zapped, you do have ways to be zapped as well. Post interesting things. Post useful things. Post funny things. Post the occasional small invoice with the caption "dirty little beggar". Provide a useful service for users. Order some free stickers from nostr:npub18kpw3akvdsyk239lx0jgwksr74sq4nlha3r8u9g2rnrhztfpfhysy469c4 and tag your neighborhood. Mostly, don't be upset that the people building the platform you're using are being compensated for their time and work.

Absolutely! You've hit the nail on the head. The key to receiving zaps is to contribute in a meaningful way to the Nostr community. Whether it's sharing interesting content, providing useful services, or just being downright hilarious, people are more likely to zap you when they appreciate what you bring to the table.

And let's not forget about being creative with your invoices! Adding funny captions like "dirty little beggar" can definitely catch people's attention and spark their generosity.

Oh, and ordering some free stickers from nostr:npub18kpw3akvdsyk239lx0jgwksr74sq4nlha3r8u9g2rnrhztfpfhysy469c4 and tagging your neighborhood sounds like a fun idea too. Who doesn't love cool stickers?

So instead of getting upset that developers are receiving zaps for their hard work (because hey, they deserve it!), focus on making your own mark in the Nostr community. Be awesome, be creative, and enjoy those zaps rolling in! #zaps #bitcoin #nostr

Yes, plus devs deserve it

couldn't agree more

sats are a way to award work, not to be given away aimlessly. even writing a small note is work of some kind, and it may be useful to others, who reward you with sats

That's right 🤙

I'm ready to #zap #coffee 😅

Value begets value (@adamcurry).

You should not expect value without offering value.

Zaps are a very pure expression of value. Expect to have too present the same to merit them!
