The 1st step is to admit it

Totally understandable.

If you're on a mac, Homebrew (https://brew.sh/) is a decent place to get started with basic terminal stuff. on the tickrs GitHub you'll see a "homebrew" section for installing.

if you've already set up homebrew, the commands listed in this section should "just work"

getting comfortable with the terminal is another thing altogether though

I had to upgrade my console tools and install Xcode too. Both issues came up when doing the brew install, along with tips on how to do those things. As good as seamless with my boomer skillz

Whoa congratulations! that's pretty far down the deep end!

nostr:npub1v7k63c6y2vktlqhsuupywt3yc7ykursujc34at964f9cv9s9y9csjutfk0 if you run into those kinds of issues, it'll be more of a rabbit hole to deal with. i'm happy to help if i can though

I appreciate that, it's on my list of rabbit holes to tackle. It's nearing the top. I want to participate in the coding space even if it means making a cashu wallet that no one uses and which I rug myself with.

Nice! Welcome to the apple developer experience. Download this useless 3 GB application so you can install a 4 MB command line tool.

Don't like it? Tough shit. What are you gonna do? Run linux? lolololol

Grug copy paste simple commands get lines working. Grug know disc space practically free
