Curious what percentage of the #btc and #nostrverse community resources themselves with some kind of personal therapist, coach, counselor or spiritual guide for the purpose of elevated levels of health, peace and vitality?

Gauging the likelihood of opportunity opening to me actually applying myself in my field of work while continuing to show up on here vs. hussling in the fiat world.

#btc & #nostr is the therapy/counselor etc! Work life balance.

Considering what Covid revealed of the medical industry, I’d be far more inclined to pursue psychedelic or ketamine therapy than traditional psychiatry if I were to seek counseling.

Not only do they show promise for actually treating serious issues, I feel those treating and counseling with them are more honest and uncompromised.

Thank you, for sharing. I appreciate your insight. I am personally neither a psychiatrist nor any sort of mainstream or traditional pathway counselor. My work is mystical and largely informed by plant medicine over the last decade and my own journeying and/or guided initiations with wisdom keepers, shamans and healers. Personally, while I have witnessed some incredible case studies for ketamine therapy and I agree with you it can be quite promising for treating serious issues I am not a proponent necessarily. It doesn't sit quite well with me. Perhaps because I am also well exposed and aware of a mass addiction epidemic on these and other types of drugs. If such therapies are undertaken they definitely should be entirely under supervision and have a start and end plan. And one should exercise a lot of caution and clear intention. My view of this whole new lil industry that's popped up is a way for mainstream medical industry to be capitalizing on the psychedelic, spiritual and plant medicine, trauma healing "fad" in a clinical settings. I am sharing based on having had friends working in such kethamine clinics.

I prefer working with plant allies such as wachuma, mushrooms and ayahuasca.

You have a great perspective. I am very much a proponent of plant medicine as well. Was in Iquitos this past summer for an aya retreat and it was an incredible experience. Would love to continue to learn and experience it more.

Microdose the shrooms and grow on all planes of consciousness.

Ebbs and flows. I do guided meditation daily on an app, pray nightly, and re: therapy, not consistently. I work with a psychotherapist and physical trainer in spans of time where my minds on overload.

I'm a traditionalist in the sense that someone who doesnt know you, or your community - won't be able to give you enough relevant advice.

For ex in old viking lore, a seer would be seen as all knowing - but in reality everyone would go to the seer for counseling spilling all the beans & providing the seer with the data needed to provide responses to the next "client".

Just my 2sats tho.

That's funny. A seer sees the unseen. Though, indeed a seer may some time need to simmer in your energy field to be able to gather enough data to see what all is actually lurking in the shadows there. And or just be a reflection of your blind spots. Often the best support comes from someone uninvolved and outside the daily drama of your life, providing a higher vantage point and perspective.

You might just have to give it a go to see. Guessing only goes so far. Proof of work is what counts around these part ain't that right?

I am open to be engaged.
