Do you think most 40 year old males could still out run their 16 year old sons?

I do ATG programming for my workouts for this exact reason

I’m doing everything I can now to be able to compete with my children and grandchildren one day

Yes. I still out run my 17 year old. But the gap is closing.

no

My dad is 50 and I’m 26. We’re both in some of the best shape we’ve ever been in but with totally different athletic goals. I bet he could easily out run me. Age is a mindset

Many exceptions to the rule but not a chance for most. By your 40s you’re not chasing girls and you’re much more inclined to stay and fight, so running looses it’s allure 🚁😂

I am still fast. Plan to stay that way. Fools errand I am sure.
