Took a big step yesterday and switched to Linux.
I needed a little help with the BIOS parts of the process and the ever patient nostr:npub1wezprxcca3tttvnhncxsxhnhz25av6wml0jm9305tr94vjhmdj2s2e62hu was there for that.
I cannot believe how easy and intuitive it is now that it’s up and running.
Im so glad to be free of windows finally!!
My favourite thing about it so far is the absolutely delightful default alert tones. 😌
If you’ve been thinking about it and putting it off because it seems overwhelming just give it a go.

That's on my to-do list as well. Hubs is going to help. He's been using Linux for a while
I was really grateful having someone help me along who has been using Linux for a long time. There are lots of really detailed step by step guides available and I think I could have done it myself but it would have taken a lot longer as I would have been constantly having to stop and learn what each step means. I’m using Mint Cinnamon and it feels just like windows but unbelievably cleaner, quicker and more intuitive.
