If you're talking about the secession part, then I get what you mean. Seceding has the potential to lead to some serious civil conflict.
Yeah I'm genuinely curious who's making a real case for it, because it sounds dumb on the face of it.

Secession is the most likely path for not just TX, but for 1/2 the country.

1/2 the country believes in communism; either because they’re lazy fucks or they’re criminals.

It’s going to happen either way. Let’s find the most peaceful solution and just make it done.
Look, here's the thing: if a state does decide to secede than it will undoubtedly cause some issues with regulation, travel, certainly some economic issues etc. But, I doubt it would lead to some kind of open military conflict of any sort. The borders are too close and families are spread all across the country.

Exactly. Having an opposing military force that is that large, powerful, and close to major populations can, and most likely will, have adverse and detrimental effects.

A fair point. But, large portions of the population will, without a doubt, have diverse opinions. We can't stop that. Secession shouldn't be thrown off the table, IMHO. We'll see.
