Sounds like you aren’t following enough people… I get a great mix of memes, gardening, food, music videos, etc., I just wish there were more paintball players on here.

Only 97 follows. The solution is follow less Bitcoin Bros, follow more normal people.
Exactly
Where can we find the Bitcoin haters on Nostr? I'd follow them for balance.
I think you're looking for the monero folks.
Do monero people generally dislike bitcoin? I'll do that for balance. Who's the leader of the Nostr monero clan?
To the back, third from the right you’ll find all 6 of them there.
Am normal? Post food, yarn, and other random things...I also did a little exploring and found people I was interested in following and dicovered that you can mute words you don't want to see. I have a great time on the nostr and most days get a giggle out of something the nostrfriends are up to. #youcanjustmutewords
some relays actually have moderation, like wss://theforest.nostr1.com you can find a lot more people there, Stella likes to have lots of good people added to the whitelist.
Paintball?
Been a decade since I played, but when I was a teenager we opened a paintball field (in a converted barn loft, and bought an inflatable field etc) - probably one of the first 25 paintball fields in Ontario at the time. It was so expensive back then (not that it cheap now).
What's your paintball backstory?
Got into paintball the mid 90s and played tournament ball for about a dozen teams. Part owner of a couple fields and stores back in the early 2000s… got burned playing serious stuff a couple years into xball and now just play for fun when I can now. Expensive, 😂 not like it was back when you and I had fields probably. I try to tell kids about spending $90 for a case of brown box RP Scherer paint back in the 90s. Now my $300 gun shoots better than my $2000 gun from 2002. Do you still play?
Nice. That's a deep Bitcoin history.
Yeah paint was ridiculous, times when in Canada we were paying $120+ for good paint - wild days. Ton of fun though. I haven't really played since the mid 2000's (couple times after that for bachelor parties etc).
I've got a nephew a couple years away from likely taking an interest in it - maybe that'll be an excuse to get back into it.
Yeah I took a little time off when my teenage son was little, but then got back into it, just playing walk on at the nearest field and played some small tournaments there too.
