nostr isn't some computer game like these little algerian dweebs i got stuck in prison were treating salah.

it's legit communication. y'alls been spending too long on popularity contest sites like facebook and x and instagram and think that social media is some kind of social climber bullshit.

ok, if you are getting money by getting audience, sure, but if you are looking for actual communication and drilling down to getting exposure to potential clients it's a whole different game. every niche is far smaller and popularity is not the goal, the goal is sales. you get that with authenticity and slick presentations.

mainstream social media just turned into yet another advertising monetization scam just like the internet was before that with advertising.

nostr is a different game. we can't just game the system and get blasted at the hugest number of people to get conversion. we have to actually target our niche properly.

Yeah, communication potential here in insane and very few understand this. Even a small community relay for you and your friends can see engagement that business marketing would kill for in legacy.

This is so true. MSSM has completely skewed the social mechanism. It has become far more attention seeking, because the only incentive is building followers and then expecting some ad revenue.

When you are motivated by #zaps and honest #value4value, the entire game changes, and the incentive quickly becomes QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

Quality over quantity for sure! And recognizing where the source of quality abides is even more important. Legacy socials get their "quality" from quanitfying users leading to the user having low value. Nostr reorients quality to the npub and your community engaments quantify your value.

Uhh its still the same. Nothing's changed except the platform people are on. Social media is still a advertizing place, only the rich & famous are the ones who get the most views & money from people. People still follow the same suit only follow what the majority says to follow. The pyramid scheme is still the same just different players & different names of places. You will never see individuals who are broke & poor be followed by over 100k, be recommended to checkout by vast majority, or featured in any section where they feature the same 7 people over & over again!

it's an entirely different experience on other clients

I do not use primal never have. I only use amethyst, jumble I seen, coracle has telemetry read the pp. Nostrudel looks cool but loads really like blurp blop bloop. I like your references I guess I am not a normie because I get that & lived those days lol.
