Chomsky's already been photographed with Epstein's butler near Epstein's Paris apartment. I think he denied knowing him at the time. Later he was asked to comment on Epstein donating money to his department at MIT and he went on a tirade about the Koch brothers being the worst criminals in human history (literally). It's not looking good for Noam at this point.

Epstein surrounded himself with, and funded academics so this isn't surprising.
I mean, I don't know the details, could be. I wouldn't immediately assume anyone who had an interaction with Epstein was a pedo though, the scheme he was running seems to revolve around luring influential people into compromising positions to blackmail them. The people I would worry about most are the ones who had repeated interactions. All that said, Chomsky should be treated with a grain of salt, I appreciate some of his contributions and can say his work was a stepping stone for my personal progression into anarcho capitalism, but he's also economically ilitterate. The five filters of mass media and manufactured consent are a pretty cohesive analysis of the modern media/government.

I think intelligence agencies care about corrupting anyone with an audience or authority, especially thruthsayers. While I think Chomsky is too far left for my taste, he often had solid points.
The Chomsky picture is complete. There was always a red flag surrounding him as an academic gate keeper, but when he starting speaking on behalf of covid zealotry and now this, my suspicions are cemented.
