e.g. given that goods now are more expensive then the equivalent future goods, why would anybody give you that difference for free?

Just don't agree with making interest illegal (I think muslim law forbids that btw).
creditors of course need to bear the risks (again rigged now).
if interest doesn't exist the only way (on a free market) there would be the only way to fund new ideas ... become part of the business (like VC). Most likely outcome would be that capitalists would not lend anything at all.
