I live within about 10 miles of Aurora (you know, the Venezuelan gangs' northern headquarters) and about 20 miles from downtown Denver.

Nope - I do not believe the 4.5% increase at all.

these three letter agencies manipulate everything, as you get older you begin to see and realize we have been lied to about almost everything

That is how I got into #bitcoin - heard Saifedean on a CarnivoreMD podcast (Paul Saladino). Thought to myself - well, they lied to us about big agra/big pharma and nutrition all these years...perhaps they lied to us about the financial system.

Listened to a couple more of Saife's podcasts...crammed the Breedlove/Saylor series into just 2-3 days...read the Bitcoin Standard...then made first significant bitcoin purchase in Jan 2022.

Then bought "all the way down" in 2022 because I was that convicted.

Paul is great, no longer a carnivore but I love his stuff. I like people in the health space(or any space) that aren't so dogmatic and believe everyone is the same. Carnivore is great for some but not for all. It crushed my thyroid which then crushed a lot of other things. Added quality carbs back and no more thyroid issue. But you try to explain that to some and they don't want to hear it.

Most everything is a scam to take from the oblivious so I am always cautious and try to be mindful of everything I can.

Yes - I appreciate Saladino switching to #AnimalBased vs pure carnivore. He has no issue with adapting and admitting why he changed his approach (because of his own health issues that started cropping up on strict carnivore). Meanwhile, Shawn Baker just keeps plugging along.

Me - I'm animal based. Eat a lot of beef, lamb, pork...lots of dairy...average about 25-30 eggs/week...use mixed berries in my smoothies...honey/maple syrup my primary sweeteners (glycine also makes a decent sweetener in coffee and has several benefits).

And bourbon is my go to drink.

Having said all of that, I'll still eat the occasional vegetable, drink red wine or a good porter/stout. Sometimes my body doesn't feel great afterwards, but I enjoy the taste - and the companionship - to make it worth the indulgences.

Been doing a lot of coaching over the last couple days, so delinquent with my replies. Back to the high school state tourney tomorrow morning, too. Freakin' rain and possible snow making me have to cancel my private lessons, though.

I am primarily animal based but have some health issues that pushed me to change my diet so until I get all those resolved I have to avoid dairy and eggs.

For protein sources I eat about 90% grass fed beef and about 10% chicken breasts, carbs I eat mostly fruit, with some honey and maple syrup and I do eat some vegetables.

Things cooled down pretty fast but where I am at I could use some rain.

Hah - we have the same sweets...but where is the bourbon?🥃 🥃

can't drink alcohol

ah - well, that is fine too. And less expensive...keep all your brain cells...etc.

I do so many good nutrition choices, and lifestyle hacks, and exercise...I figure I gotta die of something. And since I intend to live to 100, I'm willing to sacrifice a couple years having a nightly beverage with the love of my life of 37 years (and counting).
