Sometimes I want a husband just so I can travel to places deemed not safe for solo female travelers.

Why not just an armed pirate?

😂

Isn’t a pirate typical looking to pillage and plunder not escort, guard, and protect?

Pirates are mercenaries. They will do whatever needs to be done for loot. They get a bad rap. Very noble intentions, overall. I don't feel bad at all for all the tyrants treasure they ransacked and wildy dumped back into local economies.

I love how pirates were one of the first to set up a truly free republic, too. Govts knew they couldn’t allow that shit though

You could probably just rent one for the holiday.

That sounds like a romcom setup

Or a great business opportunity

Id pay sats to watch you in a romcom XD.

You can just take a friend. Marriage seems a little extreme 🤣

I just want a familiar built in travel partner. I’ve been told in some locales the hotels make you show a marriage certificate when you check in or they won’t allow you to stay in the same room.

Where is that? Been around a lot of Europe and Asia, some Stb America and never had that! I was either solo or with a girlfriend.

I was told the marriage certificate thing happened in Egypt.

Any particular destinations ?

My nephew(9) was recommending I go to Honduras. When I was reading about it there was a warning against solo female travelers hence where this note originated. Granted I’ve met people who worried about me traveling across the states alone.

What would be the first one?

All my first thoughts on where I want to go are chill for solo female travelers. Hmmm 🤔

Theres a good man out there for you , go find him and lock it down and travel the world together.

A dog would be cheaper...

Already have a good dog. She’d be difficult to take on international trips. She’d love to go though.

Right. I just need a travel partner to share experiences with.

I’m so used to traveling solo that didn’t even occur to me. Solo travel tends to lend oneself to meeting more people along the journey.

Makes a lot of sense!
