It’s my last day in #Rio πŸ‡§πŸ‡· and my anxiety is through the roof! 🀯 I’m about to take the longest flight of my life 30 hours! πŸ™ˆ

I feel like I’m about to have a heart attack and starting to regret this decision 🀣 😩

As much as I love traveling, I really hate airports and flights.

Any tips on how to survive it?

You can do it!

πŸ™πŸ˜…

Is there a layover? Don't wear those shoes for the flight πŸ˜‰ Get comfortable pants, try getting yourself upgraded to a better seat. If you can squeeze to business class, it would be more enjoyable.

Take a breath before entering the airport, don't stress, just wait in the lines, maybe get some podcast/great music in headphones. Put as much as you can into the check-in luggage (but no valuables, there's 10% chance it won't arrive). Get good noise cancelling headphones and make sure you have a cable to connect to the screen. Get some sleeping pills for the long flight - like zyrtec. If you have a tablet, download a bunch of movies or shows - figure out which show you would want to binge watch. Get some book ready for the flight too. Maybe get a notepad and a pen to start brainstorming some ideas for work, future, etc.

Make the flight worth it πŸ˜‰

I just did 11hr flight with a 9 month old baby... so also realize that it could be worse πŸ˜„

Thank you for all the valuable advices πŸ˜…βœ¨

A Caipirinha would be better :)

Play my music, itΒ΄s relaxing

Oooh yeah... That's tough. Hope you are doing fine. I've done a couple of these long flights and wow... I think at some point you break through a threshold and you are on auto pilot awake doing the thing, changing multiple time zones. The jetlag is brutal. Take deep breaths and drink lots of water. πŸ«‚

The biggest travel hack of all time is to be in ketosis, i.e. fully adapted to the carnivore diet.

All cravings completely disappear.

Crazy how much easier it makes travel days to not have to think about food at all - just fast through it.

Oh, and don't ever go through those walk-through radiation zappers at TSA. They barbeque your mitochondria and will skyrocket your chances of getting the classic "travel cold" that everyone think is just normal from flying. Nope, you just cooked yourself.

I just saw your post now, but I fasted the whole time and miraculously, it turned out to be one of my best trip. It was flawless, and I slept through the entire journey, it was like teleportation! 😁

First order of business when you're really anxious is definitely to take selfies
