Is there a layover? Don't wear those shoes for the flight π Get comfortable pants, try getting yourself upgraded to a better seat. If you can squeeze to business class, it would be more enjoyable.
Take a breath before entering the airport, don't stress, just wait in the lines, maybe get some podcast/great music in headphones. Put as much as you can into the check-in luggage (but no valuables, there's 10% chance it won't arrive). Get good noise cancelling headphones and make sure you have a cable to connect to the screen. Get some sleeping pills for the long flight - like zyrtec. If you have a tablet, download a bunch of movies or shows - figure out which show you would want to binge watch. Get some book ready for the flight too. Maybe get a notepad and a pen to start brainstorming some ideas for work, future, etc.
Make the flight worth it π
I just did 11hr flight with a 9 month old baby... so also realize that it could be worse π
