I have no idea what UTC is and at this point I’m too afraid to ask…
French for universal coordinated time. Same time zone as GMT (the prime meridian and the UK)

The French would be TUC or TCU
In English, it would be UCT
So they chose UTC to be wrong in both languages, so that it wouldn't be biased to one language
