You mean the reply bots or global? Damus or amethyst?

Reply bots. On all. I post on SNORT a lot, and I check notifications on Primal because I never receive them elsewhere.

Snort and Primal have different views on blocking content. That's a shame because it ruins the experience of this network for me because spam bots almost always reply to my shit. It's visible on all other platforms.

Even Twitter has mitigated the problem better I get less there now.

I'm at a loss and it makes me really want to find an option that tackles this problem and never look back.

Hm, amethyst has an option to only show replies from follows if that helps. Reply bots are hard to fix, you can mute em, but ya.

That's the thing. On all clients, you can not mute.

We are early and some of us have to use multiple clients to receive notifications or use other functions.

It's very frustrating.

Changing clients is one thing, the other option is changing relays. The bots will most likely be worse on free relays. Paid or more exclusive relays should have less bots. The tools aren’t available yet to discover to my satisfaction from what I am aware, but in theory it may be specific relays that you have in common with the bot which is why they are a problem for you. I still get some too but sounds like they are worse for you. I dropped the Damus relay a week or so ago you may try that as well. So far I haven’t noticed any negatives but again the tools for relay selection are not yet good enough. But we are early.

Confirmed, I found the thread where you complain about Bot notes ruining the thread, without the Damus relay I don’t see the bots that you see. Because I don’t have a relay in common with them, I don’t see their notes in your thread. The bots will be on the most popular free relays.

Meh, I left the Damus relay on this client so it’s not that one but must be some other relay you have that I don’t. Good luck!

So..in the relay list on Amethyst I noticed that there was a SPA category on the far right side.

Could that mean reported spam? 2 of them were yellow with a number.

I deleted them both. Let's see how it goes.
