Experimenting with midjourney prompts for indie gamedev asset generation. This was the hardest part of indie dev, makes me want to get into gamedev again 👀

1. “16 bit pixel art, item sprite sheet, rpg weapons - <@96079473929113600> (fast)”

2. **game sheet of different types of mystic gems, light background, clay render, oily, shiny, bevel, blender, style of Hearthstone** - Image #2 <@96079473929113600>

Nooooo we need you!! Haha. But seriously yeah, midjourney is so good at generating game assets. I hear many design studios now basically spend most of their time in midjourney for “designing” assets

Oh man, this is awesome!

With the risk of sounding mean…

Can you try generating a new Damus logo. 😅

Im happy with my logo. Me and my son designed it together. I don’t care if it’s not perfect or if people don’t like it. Damus isn’t perfect either.

logo is good

One letter logo before they were cool. 😊

Nice haha

These are so cool!!

Love these! Would be fun to see a #nostr client like this

I want to see a game with nostr integrated

Me too!

Animal Crossing: Open Source Edition

Those are really good.

Have you heard of scenario.gg?

I have but forgot the name. Thanks!

Intensive craftsmanship is replaced by AI while concept and art direction is empowered by AI. It will become easier than ever to realize your ideas.

i'm curious, why was it the hardest part?

Because im a programmer not an artist

Seriously. I can’t even handle voxel art. Underrated how difficult art is, until you try to do it.

The midjourney prompts look promising, especially the 16-bit pixel art and mystic gems. Keep up the fantastic work!

Trace in aseperite, regain the pixellation

Was thinking maybe downscaling then upscaling with nearest neighbour. Might turn out ok ?
