Interesting approach, thanks. Iām still on the router tour with standard VPN that I could also use as a wifi receiver. Need that quite often in general. Issue with phones is the other data, I would want it stand alone for mining setups that run remotely.

There's also LAN to wifi things, so you could use a wifi hotspot. But USB-LAN hotspot on a cheap android / grapheneos phone seems easier.
