Like we can’t take care of what we have

Can we leave Quebec out of this? Total dweebs. 😆

and Ontario...... Ontario and Quebec are why Canada is the way it is right now...... let's add just Vancouver to that as well

I’ve thought about this for a long time. If we could acquire Canada and Mexico, the USA would be so epic. Americans being able to freely and easily travel from the best nature and cold of Canada all the way to the amazing beaches and forests in Mexico. Basically North Pole to the equator. Drug cartels would essentially end, illegal immigration would end. US manufacturing would grow like crazy. Farming and agriculture would grow like crazy. Very bullish on this whole idea.

What a poor take. If that would ever happen (as a Canadian, I hope not), there would not be any “best nature” left in no time. All he wants is access to the mineral deposits these lands have without having to pay for it. And he won’t give a fucking shit about that “best nature”. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

As a Canadian you’ll be the nature czar. As part of the deal just make all of the beautiful forests/lakes/frozen tundra national park preserves.

The arrogance of Americans never ceases to amaze me

Ok assuming you’re Canadian. If Canada acquired the USA and Mexico you wouldn’t think that was awesome?

The opposite, it's better when countries and governments are smaller and less powerful and are bound only by free trade and cooperation

Decentralized Power is much more stable and safer for everyone

Fair point, I agree that smaller government is better. The US has done a decent job of decentralizing government by way of states rights, but a lot of laws/taxes seem to bubble up to the federal level which sucks. Still, while not trying to solve the worlds problems, I still think it would be awesome to be all one country for the reason in the OP

Each individual = a country

Call me ridiculous, idc

#agorism

He forgot Greenland though 🤦‍♂️

I'm no imperialist, but I've read that Thomas Jefferson actually expected that Canada would become part of the United States.
