China has the second larger population, 4 times mlre that Us, at third place. We ask China to produce 99% of the shit we consume in the whole world and to produce the solution to solve our own CO2 production (number one solar panel production and it's just one example), we ask them to so it at a cheaper price that any other country is able to do it. In results they are not even in the top 50 in GPD per captia. And on top of that they should not pollute more than all richest countries in the world?

I'm not saying that China is doing everything right, far away for it, but regarding pollution, only a few can blame them for being better than China while achieving more.
