I've only ever had quail once. Deep fried at a Vietnamese restaurant. Never again.

They are probably a lot better stuffed and oven roasted πŸ˜‚

πŸ˜… yeah, maybe try again if the opportunity arises. I've only had it roasted. It wasn't bad. Had quail eggs at a fancy salad bar once. Those were good. It seems like half the people I know who have chickens are starting to raise quail. It's an interesting shift.

Pigeon are the new quail.
