Why would they want to? I assume Facebook is trying to capture the ad revenue that Twitter lost when it became an unverified imposter cesspool. Nostr would get in the way of them curating the feed for advertisers.

I'd be happy that they could build on and integrate with Nostr, but any relay or client owner is free to do whatever they want.
That is sooooo stupid. Best marketing ever: "You can be on our niche app but still view your favorite mainstream creators" I thought this was the goal of all of this.
