I’m hearing more and more people switching to ghost from substack, medium, and wordpress. It’d be cool to get a plugin to publish to these long form posts to nostr. Especially if it’s tied in to helping them get a lightning address and being able to charge over nostr for their paid subscription content.

Ghost is pretty neat. I haven't hosted it myself but I have contributed to some blogs that use it.

I run an instance on Start 9 and I've hosted it on Yunohost before, but it's easier to run stuff over clearnet on Umbrel. Maybe there's some sort of way to make a bridge with an lnbits extension.

Oh, but I like Ev!

Personally don’t use his creation but a very generous woman I LIKE & RESPECT and is CLASSY (aka *NOT* TACKY nor trampy looking) uses it!

She also seems VERY INTELLIGENT, rather than TACKY nor TRASHY kinda woman who only seem to wear tight🍈🍈 outfits!

I can sense that I’d get along very well with both Ev and Ms. Scott!

Also, pretty damn certain MacKenzie Scott, and I have a mutual person in common who is very tall and a lovely person!

Why not just use Nostr directly? Are there any clients specifically tailored for long form content?

How about a plugin (e.g. WP) that does the long-form (cross-)posting to Nostr but adds to the native WP post a small area under the post that can have the zapping functionality, maybe commenting (Nostr) and link to the Nostr post.

Just enabling zaps to any posts and showing the amounts & functionality could be a start why to look more closer to Nostr capabilities.

Ghost doesn’t have native commenting right? (Last I checked). Just having a nostr comments plug-in would be amazing and to top it off, show fiat value equivalent on comments along side sats 👍 🍒 🎂

There's already some protos available such as the nostr:npub1n0sturny6w9zn2wwexju3m6asu7zh7jnv2jt2kx6tlmfhs7thq0qnflahe's nostur.com demo (see the bottom of the page).

Is it based on Fiatjaf’s version or is that another starting point?
