Could you imagine? Little flying skunks…

Uhhhh no, have heard it really stinks though 😂
We have a similar animal we call a ringtail (night creature) they like racoons 🦝 stink when you skin them.
Wolverines are the same. Part of skunk family and have the same gland. They don’t use it. When working up north, we had an elder come in and skin one for our students.

In Canada, in elementary school students learn about the fur trade and about aboriginal cultures. We bring in elders from many different nations. Artists, trappers, and storytellers. We often go out on the land with them too.

Oh like eyes watering horribleness. It will stick to curious dogs for days.
Hah! That’s an understatement. It’s a permeating awful smell that lingers and sticks. It’s similar to the sour smell that some cannabis gives off, but 100x more sour and potent.
A friend’s dog once got skunked as it ran into their house. The house had to be professionally cleaned and it still lingered for weeks.
