I just implemented 1984 handling today. But you have to use a regular client to submit the reports.. UIs are hard and I am hoping that I can leverage existing clients for the feed browsing / 1984ing.

We also need a data heavy client to make people accountable to their reports. If a report is false, everyone should know about it. Falsely reporting people should damage your reputation.
Your current system on Amethyst allows ppl to be censored via false reports, including me.
Allows people to block you, yes. That's not censorship. They can always opt out if they don't like it. These days, we even have a list that only shows the blocked feed so users can confirm they don't want to see your posts.
You should make your censorship filters opt in. That’s the ethical move.
Nah... We have too many kids with the app. By default, the experience should be conservative. They can open it up when they are ready.
Hmm ok, maybe there’s something to that given the recent influx of p*rn. There should still be a way to address false reports and get uncensored by your decisions.
Just build a system to expose false reports. Fight free speech with more free speech.
How am I meant to fight your system of libellous censorship? You put up fake warnings that my posts may be malicious or harmful.
