It has a cap for every future point in time. It's a tradeoff in favour of security over fee market uncertainty. Gold is valued at $20T shitcoins despite having no cap and x2 inflation compared to XMR.
And if you are into Monero with a cap you might find value in Wownero.

Lol, yes Satoshi created Bitcoin to solve *checks notes*...reward miles...What a fiat mentality, ironically. A lot of merchants offer large discounts for paying with Monero 10-15%
Earlier you said Monero costs several dollars to transact, so it is very obvious you have never used it. It's usually fractions of a cent. Sovereign lightning is a UX nightmare that is why almost everyone uses it custodially or in a permissioned manner.
