Debasing fiat currency + Time = Increasing income inequality
It's wild (to me) that almost no Economics professors or anyone in mainstream media seem to understand this.
#Bitcoin, of course, is the solution to this terrible problem.

Their career exists based on not understanding that.
I'm a high school economics teacher and it's bewildering to me as well. Especially how much time and energy (tail chasing) goes into artificial "fixes" for income inequality rather than addressing the root causes.
I love seeing fellow Bitcoiners teaching economics to the next generation. 🤝

Thanks. Not enough of us though. And not fast enough. It's my mission to accelerate it. www.lightningsparx.com is a project I help and www.codedshadows.com is my main initiative.
But I couldn't agree more with your post. How aren't make people seeing the truth to it all?
Recently wrote a note explainng the opposite position ie the Gini reducing effect of BTC) - would welcome feedback

I tell my kids, dollars are supposed to lose value over time. BTC is designed to increase in value. I think they are orange pilled already.

nostr:npub1s9djlxxr2qu4696xmph4paj3zxek8w73vvdj8q2tludvfusjjldqzkrp5v are there resources (books, videos, worksheets, etc) you use? Anything you can share?
We show some of the videos that nostr:npub1tftc33ttam85wraffce62cgtvvjrmttquqlv6a0agtfm5nl4vues82xar5 have made, we use the nostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3 curriculum also and we also use clips from the Tuttle Twins bitcoin & inflation episodes.. something that kids also seem to find interesting in the us debt clock and other information about how money is created
#Bitcoin will set us free

If even they believe it is that simple, a large majority of their jobs do not need to exist, so their incentive is to protect their livelihoods.
A lot of them seem to think debasing is the solution to inequality
Intellectual lazyness of people that are paid to keep their brains and mouths closed.
I was an econ major. I think partially the reason why they don't teach econ properly is that there is a inferiority complex when it comes to more rigorous hard sciences like physics. If you look at a modern econ textbook, especially macro, it's filled with equations to compute meaningless enigmas that predict nothing. It reminds me of astrology several hundred years ago where they too had complex charts and math... which they conveniently only understood...to predict nothing. I found econ to largely be a waste of time... Fortunately I double majored in math which led to a more fruitful line of work in systems engineering.
If you understand this simple concept, you will understand income inequality: banks lend money to people who don't need money.
If the basis of your stimulus program is to make it easier to lend money, take a wild guess who that money goes to.... people who don't need money.
