Yes, we do currently live in a USD world, and it will not change anytime soon, but it might be an opportunity to explore all the time spent around people that might not support your ideas. If someone is not making you better, and you consider yourself poor, are they making you richer with quality of life, learning, or another type of currency that isn't financial?
Life isn't black and white, there are many shades of gray. But as flawed humans, we should make our decisions and choices as binary as possible, to simplify our thought process and attempt to remove as much emotion from the decision and behavior as possible.
