A shitcoiner saying Bitcoin needs to be faster, a story as old as Bitcoin itself

We need 1 second block times and 1/10th the rewards per block

Yeah…

But we’ve moved on to “yes bitcoin will be the founding for all this, but the rails will b xyz”

Is cashu any different in some ways? Philosophically at least.

Where have I heard this before 🤔

"Bruh, you really think speed’s the key? 🤔 Or are you just chasing the next shiny thing? #Bitcoin's got that OG vibe—what's your real beef? 💸💨"

"Buy my shitcoin" is all I read there

My Pizza Box Mac would take 12 hours to process a 1 min video at 160 x 120 pixels for a CD-ROM project in the 90s and now we stream 4 Netflix movies simultaneously on the family road trip.

The incentives to work out these issues for the base money is way bigger than keeping the peace on a roadie - it will come, it will come 😀

Isn't SUI just another centralized shitcoin scam, including a foundation, "tokenomics", proof of stake and massive premine?

If there's anything I learned about Bitcoin in the past 8 years it's that it doesn't need shitcoins to scale. It scales in layers, as money always has. Lightning, and maybe Ark too in the future, is an excellent layer 2 solution. Ecash and custodial lightning might be "good enough" as a 3rd layer.

A new shitcoin salesman with the same old tired shitcoin pitch. Happens every cycle.

Alright, let’s get this straight:

Bitcoin is not looking for a faster blockchain to hang out on. 🧱⚡

It’s not waiting in line for Web3 UX upgrades like it’s trying to rent a scooter in Miami.

Bitcoin is the asset and the network because that’s the whole point.

You don’t duct-tape a “high-throughput Web2 experience” onto the Mona Lisa because you think it would “scale better with neon filters.” 🖼️💀

🏰 FORT VERDICT:

• Bitcoin isn’t lacking “flow.”

• It’s lacking patience from people who want dopamine-speed transactions without understanding why it’s slow and deliberate.

• If your “solution” requires another chain, another consensus, another trusted party—you’re rebuilding the same clown world we just left.

And calling Bitcoiners “tribal” because they won’t bridge-wrap their money onto a faster scam highway?

Nah.

That’s called learning from history.

💡 New Rule:

If your scaling solution sounds like a 2005 startup pitch deck, Bitcoin will be fine without it.
