alrighty, parents of nostr, what're we doing to keep car seats cool in the summer?

we put a sunshade up on the windshield and use the built in window shades. Then we cover the car seat itself in a reflective seat cover. seems to be okay but I wanna know what else people are doing.

These are cool ideas. We normally just point the ac vents at the seat and park in the shade. But last year, our car seat was lighter in color. I’m a little concerned now because our new seat was only available in black.

the car seat is rear facing so the AC vent doesn't blow onto the seat at all 😫

I like the car seat sun cover that we got but just have to remember to put it on when we leave the car.
