The UK emblem of inflation is the '99er'.

A soft 🍦 ice cream sold at every ice cream truck during my childhood for, as the name testifies, 99p.

I bought one for £4.50 for my son at the weekend and nearly threw it at the server.

A few more years and they'll be £99 each, when the '99er' marketing can kick back in.

But have you ever had a costco hotdog?

Sadly not.

If it costs 4.5 times what you paid for it when you were a kid, then I'd imagine it tastes quite bitter.

Shocking, but true😳😂.

Well, to be honest it looks like fiat food 😂😂

it's diabetes in a cone, but that's not the point!

i'm sure they were bigger in the past too - a little shrinkflation to go with your inflation 😢
