Another predawn grain run yesterday morning and the sheep and birds are very happy to have the munchables. I'm slowly getting the garden coated in the grain and will have it more than covered by the time tilling season hits... Though it is tillable now since we have no snow or frozen ground...

I'd like for it to actually turn to winter at some point, this rain and mud is just annoying given it's January.

The mud is the worst part about spring up here even though it's supposed to be winter. We've got snow but it keeps warming up and melting into a slushy muddy mess.

This is going to make for an interesting summer most likely if we don't get more low level snows.
