My attention span is so low. 😟
You can get your focus back don’t give up!! Start doing anything that forces you to focus 100% of your attention on a single task (meditation, playing music, reading books). Baby steps, start with 5/10 minutes everyday, and after the habit is set in increase the time little by little.
It’s not a race, it’s a marathon, so don’t rush it, patience and it will come with time.

Speaking of phones I’ve been playing with a new device, the Boox Palma 2 and am loving it
Think of it as a kindle in the shape of a phone on steroids
It encourages reading, not doomscrolling on social media
It’s a minimalist device of sorts

As a HS Teacher I think we fail the next generation by giving them access to the Internet and Smartphones too early in their lives.
Just like we have age limits on cigarettes and alcohol, we do not let them into adult spaces irl but in the internet it is predominantly an adult space… young people and their underdeveloped bodies and brains do not have the ability to realise the potential addiction and negative effects of these devices and applications.
