Imagine you pointed your camera at a book, it recognizes it, and then you can see all of the recent notes and threads that people posted about it.

Generic comments allow you to create nostr threads on physical things and places. You get nextdoor for free. You put on AR glasses and see nostr threads on buildings and places. The applications are limitless. nostr:note1x876pm98ll99kp5xjx3rwz8qqv9hgtgdd8h6nkf7mzp7rf9eez3shpcscs

Love the innovative idea!!

Confused face ….

Everything as a nostr thread:

Your coffee shop, the public bus stop, a specific book

think of how many businesses can spring up around this idea

As long as the apple fishbowl is not required I am excite πŸ˜…

Still confused lol

See https://satcom.app/

You can test in your browser as an extension

Screw the cameras

Great stuff - but needs some proof of work to prevent spamming the world I guess 🀷🏻

Nah, just filter for only people you want to see (using any one of many personal algorithms. Including web of trust)

A browser extension that shows WoT discussion for URLs

we had that at one point but I think this is cleaner

nostr fixes yelp.

Semantic Web been doing this since 2002

I like where this is going!

Love this!

I’m quite used to pointing my camera at a physical book to capture highlights of text which I then store and annotate in digital notes. This sounds like the perfect extension of that workflow!

Reading notes and threads from others feels like a great way to cognitively own a book.

what🀯

Useful for shopping (any product)

exactly

This idea always comes to my mind when somebody asks "What's the Nostr killer app?". This + WoT is a game changer and there will be npubs that will leave reviews specifically based on a particular diet or chronic disease. And your social graph literally goes shopping with you. Haven't seen anything like that.

I have to read the proposalπŸ‘€ afk for some days
