Thinking about switching soon. Does it have any kind of virtual assistant/voice control option? I need to be able to control my phone hands free alot so I'm kinda worried about that in switching.
Nothing like that out of the box, but there might be some options you can install yourself, even proprietary stuff, and even stuff that requires Google play services since you can install those sandboxed

She's a few days in and liking it. A few weeks ago she mentioned she was looking at a couple of phones that are low tech (wise phone and light phone). She wants to have no social media, no browser and use her phone just to produce, navigate, listen to music and create. Also no app store.
After watching a few reviews I mentioned we could probably do this with a pixel + nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerfw36x7tnsw43z786xdyf .
It took us a while but she's got maybe 15 apps and is making it work so far. Proud of her.
Using only nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerfw36x7tnsw43z786xdyf for everything (daily driver + anon usage) was a big journey for me which led to being canceled by a half dozen vital services upon which I relied, including my Apple account.
The bright side was finding services that did not insist on extreme surveillance in order to remain in good status, which made it easy to migrate the wife over fully.
Reminds me of when I switched over to SimpleLogin aliases for my accounts; discovered a handful of services that simply didn't allow alias addresses. Simple canceled and went elsewhere.
