For this use case #bitcoin needs to be at 10 K USD .. for Digital Gold use case it will be a million dollars .. Only one of them will work .. they are mutually exclusive
I think Digital Gold is a much better use case for poor people - because it is first time , poor can acquire #sats without any entry barrier and almost zero acqisition cost (#zaps) .. What is the point of giving them another currency ?

The way Fed ensures stable price is it issues ten years debt and promises to stand by the agreed coupen ! A promise reflects the future price. In essence it fixes future price of an asset .. unless someone does that for #bitcoin , it can't be used as medium of exchange !

I've been on nostr for a year or so and still don't have zaps working entirely right (Sending). The best way I show Bitcoin is showing someone a custodial lightning wallet, comparing it to a bank account and tapping to pay with my bolt card that's linked to my Minecraft player account directly and show them how easy it is to replace one foundation with another. When it feels like fiat, it shows them how powerful it actually is. It's a quick trip down the layers to self custody on layer 1.
