If you like theme parks and rollercoaster, yes. If you hate crowd and prefer to relax and walk by the lake, maybe not.
There is also another parks right next to Gardaland, Movie Park or something, it's quite a strange park but with very original rides if you are into it.
I love a healthy balance of both (rollercoasters, adventure, and city vibes, versus nature, relaxation, lakeside chillin, etc.)

A beautiful part of the world, take a hike to Gandria if you get a chance. Lovely spot.
Recommend route: Funi up to the top of Monte Brè, walk down to Gandria through the trees then back along the path next to the lake to Lugano centre.
