the number one use of water in the US is growing crops. the number one “crop” in the US is lawn. imagine if everyone grew food instead…
We already have too much food that gets wasted what the hell would we do with all that food?

Throw a day of chores and yardwork and half a day of church on top of a 40-50 hour workweek and it’s pretty easy to see why most people don’t have time to dedicate 50-100 hours to learning about things that can free them.
Yeah I was getting sour on yard work. Like legit hating it. Then I realized maybe I should change my thinking from “I have to mow the lawn” to “I GET to mow a lawn” and create a nice space for the few hours a week I’m able to just chill out. Another thing I’m reminded of is that my Dad never touched a lawnmower. That chore, tending the huge vegetable garden, and care of the animals was firmly the responsibility of my Mom, sister and I. Dad spent his time on capital projects, or out on a tractor or combine till 11pm after working his normal 9-5. It really takes a team. No slackers allowed.
Robotic lawnmower handles it and you can do revolting.
