taking a freezing cold shower, there is a sense of purification
totally forgot to post this one. this was the first time i had a thickness issue with the clear glaze on the rim and was not super pleased…but it’s still a cute little bowl so i’m not too upset.

i’m curious what your thoughts are. what is the philosophy behind hyperrealism? as in, why not just take a photo of the plum? is the goal and complete technical understanding and mastery of the exact visual elements of some image, or is it something more? amazing work by the way (as usual).
i made a few of these a little over a year ago and decided to return to these and make one more. fun little kaonashi tumbler
