My next #mkstack guide is here. It's for all of you with old and outdated websites. Whether it's a personal website, a community hub, or business website that's out of date and collecting digital dust, you can update it with ease to add a new modern look and even incorporate live data from Nostr.

I used this method with my personal website last week and in just two prompts was able to completely redo my website. Zaps do not work, that will require a other prompt or two, but everything else worked incredibly well. I would highly recommend anyone with an aging or sub-par website to give this a try.

I've wanted a revamp of my site that got abandoned by my web dev guy before it was even ever finished now forever. Hoping I can get to this in a week or two and that I could potentially do this myself πŸ‘€

One simple text tutorial is better than 1000 podcasts and 100 YouTubes :-) .. thanks you for doing this ...

Two questions

1. Can you host this nostrified site on a static page server - say like gh pages ?

2. Do I need all my content ( blog or podcasts etc) as nostr events ?

I am struggeling with that mistake. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I'm going to guess this is a Windows issue. I don't have a Windows system to test this on, but I assume it has to do with that... Let me ask the team.

Use wsl.

Side note:

Your wsl maps your windows drives as

/mnt/c/... -> C drive

/mnt/d/... -> D drive

etc

So you could use a folder there, then run the things, then you will see the folder on windows.

Alright, thanks so much! Going to try it out.

Will it take a 95% complete nostr client and rebuild it with MKStack while preserving all the old features and finishing the last 5% which may or may not be integrating zaps? Asking for a friend

Testing this out!

Have just tried it and it’s completed with a summary, which read correctly. However running npm run dev shows a blank page. I needed to head out but will try again later in the evening.
