Today I discovered the very useful website Wallet Scrutiny that tests and reviews Bitcoin wallets to make sure they are truly open source and that they are safe and secure. They have thousands of entries in their searchable database.

And somehow haters will tell you the coldcard shouldn't be passing those tests

Unfortunately, it doesn't disclose that Coldcard is licensed aka not open source.

It's in the fine print, with a clear recommendation hmmm.

like privacy wallet devs, hww makers have been at each others throats far back as I can remember.

Very useful

I can’t wait to check this website out. This looks really cool

Looks good. I wonder how they determine in which order the wallets are displayed? Not really important, but there must be a reason (it's not alphabetic).

I think the ones that passed all tests are listed first and then 11 out of 12 tests next and so on.

It's because the top two are actually open source and recommended.

Peep the fine print when it comes to Coinkite which is not open source by definition.

It doesn't disclose open source unfortunately.

For ex it says nothing about Coinkite products being not open source.

I'm partial to unstoppable for a hot wallet on my phone, glad it passed the tests. Love the site!
