I see your point. If I was American I assume I’d vote for Trump. Luckily in Germany we have more than two parties, so it’s more obvious not voting is the better choice because parties and politicians are all equally shit. Having said that…

Trump is a shitcoiner by proxy.

Long term best for Bitcoin was adversarial action, not support.

Politicians are all shit the world over lol but we have to vote to protect ourselves because bitcoin is inherently political

Everything is inherently political in a fiat world. Except voting. Voting is the illusion of influence. I see the case this time though.

Isn't Bitcoin apolitical?

You can’t separate money and politics

No, you can't. That was evident to the founders from day 1 and a reason they tried to limit the government (save a few). Limit the power of government. It's the only way.

What did having more parties do for the ppl? Couldn’t you argue having a lot of parties decentralized support in the right so now you have to deal with shutting down nuclear, immigration mess, selling btc, etc.

I wrote what it did for people: it made transparent that it’s not “the other party” because there is multiple parties and they’re all equally shit.

On “decentralized support in the right” I’d say yes it seems like this. Even Germany’s “far-right” party argues this is the case but I’d say it’s more that the original Conservative Party in Germany stopped being conservative and went woke under Merkel but conservative people need more time to realize this and take action. They’re conservative in the end… lol

Reminder: long term best for Bitcoin was adversarial action, not support.
