The timing to build a Nostr powered alternative for Strava AND Komoot is almost getting perfect after the news is out that Komoot is acquired by a Bended Spoons. In '23 and '24 they also have acquired Evernote WeTransfer MeetUP etc for example and we all know what will happen next now with Komoot #enshittification.

yep, you can use https://nostrapp.link/ to register the POWR app and other clients will be able to find it when they see the POWR event kinds. adding the client tag is also nice but optional!

Yea Ive thought about this. It would make things like leaderboards, groups workouts (like WODs) etc possible. First thing I need to prioritize though is publish it on TestFlight and Zapstore. Got my developer account for iOS up and running last night which was a pain in the ass but necessary step. It’s coming soon, I promise™️

Yes but who really builds it🤣 Last year when I did all my summer cycling I remember someone started with something like nostride/ nostride but to start is easy, to finish/ continue working on a project is for most the hardest part :) I know it is a lot of work but its like sport it is also dedication and the daily work (out)💪🙏 POW
