It is entertaining to watch Peter Schiff make the case for bitcoin without admitting it. But seriously. How long can his pride keep him from opening his eyes? I don't know Peter, but if his son has anything to do with it we might be waiting a while. Many parents just have to much pride to admit they were wrong.

I really like the part "The Closed Web proponents casting dark clouds over Drupal Village." and I'm very curious if and how the new marketing initiative will pack this message to the outside. It also raises the question on my side if Drupal is freedom technology in some way?
Yeah, I thought the story was an interesting new way to tell the story of Drupal and the web. IMO Drupal is or can be freedom technology.

My expectation is that it will take them at least 5 years to make this actually a reality. Europeans, the time is now to adopt bitcoin and free yourselves from this mechanism of control.
Most people like this are not productive people. They feel larger by making someone else look smaller. Its a pathetic human characteristic.

When I was on iOS it did not back up Signal anywhere. If you switch phones your contacts are synced but not your content.

Most likely the person on the other end is a fed or was pressured by feds. With Signal you are trusting the person you are speaking with. On top of that unless you validate their key you are trusting that you are talking with the person you think you are talking with. There are a bunch of other possibilities but these two seem the most credible to me. Also VERY possible Tucker is full of it.

For those that have a hard time with nuance, I said the HYPE, not AI. When you've worked in tech with a skeptical mindset for as long as I have you start to see these patterns repeat. Its easy to dismiss the tech when the hype is so high but that is also a mistake.
My biggest issue with Nostr isn't with Nostr. We have been so influenced by the things that have come before it that we keep trying to squeeze it into these old molds. This will change. This tool has more utility than posting memes and arguing with people in bad faith.
