You should be aware that Ben Arc frequently shuts off the LN Bits legend server to force proper OpSec by running your own self-hosted instance.
By far the easiest way to do that as you bootstrap this project is likely to spend some of the LN sats you earn to pay for your own Voltage.Cloud server running your LN Bits instance on their node. Until you can level up your security by hosting your own node hardware.
IF you do not do this, you can expect your Nostr.sites premium service to shut down completely at unexpected times. When you're not running your own node, you're trusting others, and exposing transaction data. At least Voltage has built their entire business model on their reputational capital providing node hosting as a service.

WoS is easy and convenient, sacrificing some security due to reliance on their node infrastructure. Phoenix enables more security with similar ease and convenience. Breez.technology is another self-custodied (thus more private & secure) LN application that ALSO integrates a retail POS feature and support for the Podcasting 2.0 v4v model.
Zeus is easy too, but requires connecting to a node (which can be outsourced for instance to the Lightning Tips bot wallet/node on Telegram), that exists on a scale ranging from fully outsourced, rented cloud nodes like Voltage, or fully self hosted on a Start9, Ministry of Nodes, DIY or other pre-built Rasberry Pi nodes.

Many carry over inherited fiat mentalities bringing with them an entitlement to support without compensation due to their perceived value of their mission (i.e. support my art, my defense of the defenseless, i.e. the "important" work I'm doing in the world). If the marketplace isn't supporting any offering enough to cover expenses with surplus enough to enable growth without handouts, then maybe the offering isn't providing enough value to justify its operation.
Something for nothing is a fiat phenomenon. In the real world where real work has to be done, people place value according to what they have to pay for it; what is requested for free by many coming from privilege must be assumed to have little to no value. The same goes for those making offers of value without compensation, it must have no value if it has no price.
THIS is exactly why it will take generations for the v4v model to become commonplace.
Fiat mindsets request help without expecting to pay for it. Bitcoiners value their time/attention, goods, and sats too much to spend on those not interested in equitable trades.
Asking for anyone's attention, goods, and services without expecting to provide fair compensation is fiat behavior. doesn't matter how those scales are balanced, w/sats, USD, precious metals, or direct barter.
Seeking balance is simply the most moral behavior. Fiat systems built on corrupted foundations reward entitlements, a mindset that's difficult to see after a lifetime spent within the fiat box. Even for many bitcoiners...
Bitcoin's v4v model is simply Karma Yoga made measurable. Sats represent karma made countable.

Darkness is NOT the opposite of Light, it is the absence of Light. Our very presence removes the darkness when we realize the Light exists in and radiates out from us.
I fear not the darkness because I know it is necessary, I judge it not, I merely know when I'm operating in the shadows and when in the light. Using the appropriate tools, tactics, and strategies for where ever I stand.
I suggest that this perpetual war you mention is not between the Light and Dark side of monetary forces. Rather this ongoing battle is fought between the Collectivists and the Individualists.

Yep, no water. Makes going without food easy, all I crave is a drink. Hardest part is the cotton mouth and biggest risk is kidney stones, but I have strategies that help with both those issues.
A good Captain leads by example, stacking more sats rather than calories is high quality leadership. Improving health and spending less on consumption so you can add to your stack is a win/win!
I just went 72 hrs on a dry fast last weekend, meaning no for now water consumption for 3 days. My record is 116 hrs. I've gone over 3 days dry now more times than I can count.
Ask Chatgtp about it... you may be inspired to try it next time. I find it easier to activate the ketone fuel pathway by going a couple days with just liquid fats, so actually tend to go at least 5 days without solids. But after going dry wet fasting barely seems to count!
Need more edible orchards in zone 5 on the perimeter of this citadel, try a permaculture version of this. Or perhaps I shall see what this leads to as a prompt myself.
