I've been evolving my view of residential home design as a form of bio-engineering a Macro-biome to complement, cultivate, and curate plant, animal, and soil micro-biomes. Our homes have digestive, nervous, skeletal, and connective tissue systems, just as living creatures do.
My current reading of Christopher Alexander's "The Nature of Order, the process of creating life" is clarifying my understanding of Life as a process of unfoldment. That which IS, being transformed gradually into a more integrated 'whole', effectively describes how the Tao evolves consciousness from a sense of separation into one of unity.
I am seeing a way for us all to apply his ideas regarding the design and construction of living structures as an effective method for sustainably transforming every/any aspect of our lives. Many Bitcoineta, Permaculturists, and software Developers will benefit from the ideas shared with us in all of his written works.
Liquid is best considered a pass-thru vehicle, more of a bypass lane than a parking lot. Like Lightning, it's meant for petty cash spending, either by exchanges or LN channel balancing of accounts. Storing value is best done with self-custodied offline key-signers, in large amounts, on an infrequent basis.
If you're storing value on exchanges, in Liquid, or LN, you aren't using your tiols properly. Off label use always has inherent risks, no matter the prescription.
😭
I guess what I need to do is keep going through Freecodecamp.org and learning a skill to prevent any of this from ever happening again.
I've asked everyone here for help, opinions and suggestions since I've been on nostr(feb 19 2023) and this is about the best solution anyone's came up with for how a valueless person can gain value, while not costing them money that they don't have.
Thank you nostr:nprofile1qqs8nxvpg9shg0ez0yqx4vgvlkpm6vadlu3ushjan5y5nlwkp783jqgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wss0u6aq for pointing Freecodecamp out to me.

Time to put my big boy pants on and get shit done. 🫡
Life is best considered a test of endurance, not a sprint. Knowledge is the only 'thing', other than bitcoin, that doesn't weigh you down, can't be stolen by thugs, accrues value over time, and empowers you and those around you when you share it.
Follow your own interests and solve your own problems, solve them well enough for others too, and the marketplace will reward you with surplus value to stack as sats. No doubt, beating bitcoin's performance over the next decade will be a massive challenge, but it's one every business and individual now faces. Those who rise to this challenge, especially over this next decade as we move from 95% towards 99% of Bitcoin's issuance scheduled for 2035.
This is why the best investment you can make is in your future self by spending the only thing more scarce and valuable than sats, your time, invested on making yourself useful to the marketplace. Consider what of our common needs you are uniquely capable of providing to your peers, then figure out a way to acquire the skills, tools, and materials necessary to deliver your unique value proposition to the world.
I speak from experience here, as I am in a similar boat, but, I have over 3 decades of time that I've invested into making myself one of the most useful humans on Earth. Now my task is to package and communicate the unique value my talents, knowledge, and extensive toolset allow me to deliver.
By the way, I have been 'houseless' for a large portion of the last 30+ years, have spent more time with a net worth as measured in money of any kind at zero, and am almost completely self-taught in all of the half-dozen or so ways I have of earning a 6 figure annual income as an independent contractor. I have not been an employee anywhere since a part-time guy working mostly for flight benefits about 27 yrs ago.
Where there is the Will, you will find a Way.
You've got this!
Just trust the process, stay humble, invest in yourself, and stack surplus reserves as sats.
Fiat financing of government subsidies in the US make Portland cement artificially cost effective. There are much better solutions, but they cannot compete on price point when those manufacturers are getting government handouts.
This doesn't just apply to cement , but steel as well. Research MgO 'cerami-crete' and 'suda-glass' basalt, those materials are superior across the board, from environmental impact to functional performance, yet almost no one has heard of them let alone where to buy them.
Simply put, what gets built in what gets subsidized, financed, insured, & 'permitted', NOT what produces the best results.
Does Primal require KYC?
Non-KYC sats often have a 12-20% premium.
Authorities will always assume they have authority, even when they don't. That authority is ONLY applicable to specifics subject matter over specific jurisdictions. To defend ourselves against these paper tyrants we need to understand who we are and where we stand, this who has, or doesn't have, jurisdiction over us and the subject matter at hand.
Public entities created through public paper operating on public hardware using public are already known counterparties to every engagement. While, private parties created through private paper contracts that contract with their private peers only through private portals on private hardware can stay in the private domain.
It's essential that one sees both sides of this coin in order to ride the third side, the edge between them both.
Row you boat gently down the stream, life is but a dream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, I'll hold my bitcoin as we flow down the time stream.
Without meaning to make a joke, I made a friend laugh yesterday when I quite seriously said "I don't like gambling, so I only hold Bitcoin".
Not seeing any contradiction in this at all, I didn't even notice any irony in this statement. He's missed out on a lot of gains by holding shitcoins this last few years and found my comment hilarious.
I expect that my fellow Bitcoin Standard Bearers in here fully understand the logic of my position, though. I treat digital fiat as a hand grenade liable to explode at anytime and paper fiat as a hot potato that will burn me if held for more than a few moments, getting rid of them as quickly as I accumulate them.
Myself, everything BUT bitcoin feels like a gamble with the odds stacked against my even keeping current purchasing power, with little chance of increasing it. Especially, if priced in sats!
You're no doubt spot on with this assessment. Myself, I do all that you've listed except for building computers. Also, doing 3d printing, professional massage, Tai Chi Chuan, and fasting, as well.
We are not like the Sheeple using social media platforms, rather than open source protocols.
You can find DIY designs to fabricate a methane bio digester out of an IBC tote on YouTube. Those can be fed scrap compost run through a garbage disposal. Might also consider setting up a BTC space heater to get some sats-back on the electricity spent on your electric heater.
Get a homebiogas.com methane bio digester and turn your shit into natural gas to cook and heat with. If you're the only one using it, you may find you need more people contributing more shit to your shitter pretty quick, though.
This design would be standard practice for every septic tank if the regulators simply got out of our way!
Life is short, guys, the future is uncertain, you never know what day will be your last. So act accordingly, say whatever needs said to your loved ones!
Thankfully, I healed a multi-year rift with my younger brother this Spring, because I just found out he was killed in a car crash this morning. His health was failing and his body was breaking down making life a burden that he suffered, so now he's been released from his mortal coil and better off for it.

This is the realization of something I began working on when I first began my #3dprinting journey at PlebLab over 1 1/2 yrs ago.
Winter is coming and many will be needing shelter from the coming storms. These will make great solutions, and I believe I can produce at least 2 of these a month, but cold and rain will delay drying them in.
In our list of essential daily needs, shelter supersedes the need for air, food, and water, because without it none of the rest matter and you will still die even IF you have those daily consumable items. Shelter is also the only need that businesses share with living beings. Decentralizing manufacturing of small, appropriately sized, tooled, and resourced shelters is essential for us to remain sovereign in our personal and professional lives.
The costs for providing shelter to ourselves, our families, and our businesses has been driven up by fiat monetization of real estate. Compliance and fees increase costs of building by at least 25% and for many families these days the cost for shelter is 50% of their monthly expenses. In large part, ALL of this is because what gets built is what will be financed, inspected, and insured.
I've designed and built this appropriately small structure with off the shelf tools, largely upcycled, durable materials. Built with easily acquired skill sets that many already have, or can easily acquire. Having already acquired the tools, learned the required skills, and learned on my own dime while building this prototype proof-of-concept I'm now making it available for physical inspection in the Austin, TX area.
I will ONLY be accepting Bitcoin for payment to build these micro-dome igloos, that require no permits from centralized bureaucrats. Soon I'll be sharing the Pattern Language Design recipe in a long form Nostr note for those interested in portable, semi-permanent, or permanent handcrafted installations combining ancient and space age technologies.
This is NOT the cheapest option, as I've designed and built this for my own use as the pre-manufacturing plant to allow me to build more of these as a nomadic builder. But, I can still keep the entry level product down to $55/sq ft, while delivering a far superior product than almost anything currently available in the #tinyhome and #glamping markets. The version pictured here is a semi-permanent version, as I've assembled this on a rental property knowing that I'll have to disassemble and relocate it someday.
Reach out in my DMs if you're interested in "permit-less" shelters for youself, your family, and/or your business.
I found free 3d printed versions of this jig and a container for them. I printed up both for under $1. The stamp set from Harbor Freight was the most expensive part. Wouldn't bother buying that jig.
These 3d printers are immensely useful for decentralizing manufacturing.
I like how TextNow.com provides a physical Sim card for a one-time fee of $5 and no ongoing costs for calls and texts. They are funded through ads and give you a new number if you go a week without a call or text. Without requiring KYC docs, they're providing ephemeral phone numbers for intermittent use and permanent ones for regular use. Both have their use cases and it's very nice to have a free and anonymous number. I hate monthly bills and can easily ignore their ads.
“Prosperity happens because you have good money and you have a community that trades. Government is the opposite of that. It is literally cancer. The fiat system is cancer. We have cancer. And you cannot fix cancer. You cannot just get radiation every week. You have to cut it out.”

tl;dr >> THE GOVERMENT IS CANCER

Excision of cancerous tissue won't remove the conditions that allowed it to form in the first place. Permanent healing requires starving it of the sugars of fiat, instead feeding the body real nutrients made from quality ingredients acquired by doing the work. The terrain theory of health teaches us that true healthcare begins by controlling all inputs, cultivating exchange of nutrients from without and waste removal from within.
Parasites, viruses, and unhealthy bacteria, as well as cancers, are all best prevented by creating an inhospitable host body. Stagnation, congestion, and overconsumption, without concern for quality or quantity of inputs create conditions that allow pathogens to thrive. While fasting, movement, sunlight, and oxygen help remove and disinfect tissues.
As with our internal economies, "garbage in and not enough garbage out leads to systemic failure". Fiat is the equivalent to highly processed white sugar, as addictive and destructive as cocaine, stimulating the pleasure centers without providing any real value.
Staying humble, living simple, stacking sats by providing real value doing useful work is how we heal our internal and external energy economies. Stagnation and congestion are the enemies, best fought off through continuous movement, of our bowels and our cultivated stack of sats. The sats must flow, so we don't get fat as life energy flows through us, directed towards life cultivating work provided to and by our peers.
